Mathew graduated in Civil Engineering from CET in 1986. His wife , Mini Mary also
graduated the same year in Architecture Engg., unaware of the fact that their lives would cross
and join each other four years later.

Mathew, hails from Adoor. He did his early schooling in Adoor Holy Angels High School and
predegree in SB College changanachery.Aftergraduation, he started his career with Bhageeratha Engg.
in Bombay. But later on (finding the bhageeratha job a bit difficult for him?) joined the Engineering
department of LIC in Trivandrum in 1990.
Meanwhile Mini Mary started working as Assistant Town Planner in Town Planning Dept of
Government of Kerala, a post which she holds even today -in absence.

They got married in'90(both swear they aren't a case of acacia couples)In'94 Mathew landed in Dubai
and joined M/S Wade Adams(a major infrastructure construction company having annual turnover of about
4billion Dirhams)where he continues to work till date.He works as Manager-Estimation for Wade Adams Group.

The couple is blessed with two talented daughters who excel in education as well as other
artistic faculties. Merin is grade 11 student in Modern High School Dubai whereas her younger
sister Serin is in grade 9 of same school. Both have completed more than ten projects in Gavel
Club.
Regular participants in all CETA events, they continue to bring home accolades and
felicitations.

Mathew has been active in elocution club while
in college. Upon his request his "other" extra
curricular activities are not being made public.

As and when he gets time off from his job in
tendering / estimation department of Wade
Adams, Mathew finds time to actively involve
himself in CETA activities. He has represented
CETA in KERA. In 2007 he steered KERA into a
hyper active organisation in his capacity as
general secretary of KERA.

As part of the Engineering wing of his church, he is also involved in the construction activities for a
new church building.

Ever since the days of Harshad Mehta, Mathew has been an active player in Indian Shares and
Stock markets. Under prevailing market conditions, though he is non committal about his paper
wealth.

Ninavu features the gifted family of Mathew and Mini as "Family of the edition" . As per our
existing guidelines, each member of the family has individually contributed to different sections
of current issue of Ninavu.

In addition to their regular performances of Elocution, Music, Dance,
Athletics etc, in School, CETA, KERA, AKCAF, Sunday School and a
host of social organizations including Indian Association Dubai,

Merin was the founder President of the Scintillators Gavel Club Dubai
( children's wing of Toast Master's International) and Competent
Gavelier (completed 10 projects) - . Merin was also the runner up of the
Lamcy Plaza Super Star contest for singing in 2007.

A few of the Laurels to the credit of Serin are;
- Winner of K. S. Varkey Inter school Elocution Competition conducted
by GEMS group in 2005,
- Runner up position for Overall Championship of ECHOFEST 2006,
- Winner of Lamcy Plaza Super Star Contest for Dance category for
two consecutive years 2006, 2007
- Overall Champion of St. Thomas Orthodox Sunday School Annual
Competition 2007 - 2008,
- Finalist of the Boogie - Woogie International Dance Contest
organized by Sony T.V held at Global Village Dubai 2008 and a
- Competent Gavelier (completed 10 projects ).
