On a bright and sunny day of 11th July 2008, CETA organized a Children’s Camp at Utsav Auditorium, India Club, Dubai. As it was meant to be, it was a day of fun and frolic

The registration was open by 10 in the morning. The children were registered and each given a letter of a colour. The event was formally inaugurated by the youngest participant one and half year old Anirudh cutting the cake.
The next event was to get the children to know each other. For this an Ice breaker game was organized The children were asked to form the names of the colours with the letters they were given during the registration. The children were running around busily forming the groups. There were around 6 groups namely Orange, Yellow, Violet, Silver, Maroon and Gold
Later, a memory game was conducted, were they were asked to observe the set of slides and questions were asked based on them.
While the preparation of the next game was going on, the children had fun answering the Quiz prepared by Merin and Serin.
Finally all were ready to play the next game which was “Bombing the City”. All of them were running around and having fun. By the end of the game they had worked on the appetite and were ready to gorge down on the food on the tables.
After a sumptuous meal everybody was eagerly waiting for the Magic show. The magic show was an instant success and they enjoyed it to the maximum.
. Next, they were put through an interactive session (madhuram malayalam) by Mr. Albert Alex about the importance of Language Malayalam in our lives. The talk was very interactive and filled with music.
Now the children were ready to see some action. The next game on the agenda was “Treasure Hunt”. The children were  provided with clues and these clues in turn led to more clues and lastly to the prize. Now everybody was gathered in the children’s play area.
Small games like Tug of War and Octopus were played. By the end of these games everybody were tried to the bones. Light refreshments did cheer them up a bit and we entered into the closing stages of the day.
kids entertained themselves along with Mr. Faisal by singing their favourite songs.

hope they do wait for the next summer to come - so that they could meet their friends and make new ones....

After starting the day with fun, things took a serious turn. A talk by Shri Radhakrishnan, Vice principal, Sharjah India School imparted knowledge about how to make learning more fun.-
